In this one I’m building a simple cabinet using the 10MinuteWorkshop Loose Tenon Jig, and taking a look at the new range of loose tenons from Trend UK to see how they work out. Enjoy!

Wow, yeah, I can't believe it took so long for another manufacturer to make "off brand" dominoes. Those look the business and in DIY friendly quantities. Unfortunately, not availble to buy here in the US yet, we'll see.
It's always interesting to me that Peter has all the benchdogs gear available to him and yet never uses the rail square or parallel guides when cutting sheets. Right now I have a Macallister track saw and use bits of wood or a combi square as Peter does (learnt from him obviously) to line up the rail. I always look at the BD gear and think I should invest but perhaps I should resist :D
I enjoyed that video Peter, felt more ‘back to basics’ of what your videos were a few years ago; you making something and passing on your experience with a product.
The Trend Loose Tenon’s sound great value, I’ll have to go and take a look at getting some of different sizes.
One thing you didn’t cover was your thoughts on “what size tenon when”. I’m guessing 4x20 for 12mm? Be interested in what you’d recommend as being a useful set of sizes to get?
I’m personally quite happy with using 5x30’s in 18mm material, they work fine and I’d have to get a 6mm spiral upcut bit for my Loose Tenon jig if I changed. Plus I’ve got 300 o…
Pretty sure the Medite is getting heavier. I’m noticing that too.
Thanks Peter!
